Aromatics Elixir
I’m convinced that perfumiers have the best time coming up with names for their scents. Aromatics Elixir, an old classic by Clinique, is a gorgeous name- and, I’ll admit, probably one of the major reasons I bought a (small!) bottle of it. The word “elixir” itself sounds mysterious and alluring, and when I dab some of it on my wrists, I can’t help thinking, “Ah, the elixir of beauty!”
This perfume is older than I am. Created in 1971, it’s 36 years old- not an antique, but definitely a classic. Its ingredients include white jasmine, chamomile and bergamot, and it’s a very floral, somewhat woody fragrance. I suggest putting a few drops in your bathwater.
